Abstract: The aim of this review article is to identify the factors affecting work –life balance of female of employees working in Indian IT industry. Today’s competitive world, one of the pertinent issues faced by the employees is the lack of balance in work life and family life. Due to various reasons today’s female employees in especially IT industry face multifaceted problems in their family life due to lack of balance between job life and family life. The poor match between the job and family life adversely affect the satisfaction level of employees and organizational commitment of them. This study investigates the various factors responsible for the imbalance of job and family life of female employees and gives an insight to the IT companies to review their policy and norms on job and to enhance the employee performance.
